How's it going lurkers? Today is Saint Patrick's Day! Most people, who know me, don't know that I have Irish blood.
Over
the years, I've had ignorami accuse me of lying about being Irish. It
is mostly because I have a Caramel skin complexion as opposed to appearing a
ghostly white.
Apparently, they assume that every
Irish person (if not everyone with European blood) is pale, never had
interracial relationships, or any flings with other people outside their
races.
Talk about some dumb ass Americans! Our
educational system in America is so low compared to other countries.
This is why people from other countries laugh at us.
Here's a shocker about yours truly. You know the Irish engineer, Casey Jones? He is an ancestor of MINE. In
fact, when my great-grandmother was still alive, she despised Casey
Jones. It was mostly because she ALWAYS heard stories about the man
throwing Peppermint Candy to children on the Indian Reservation, as a
child.
Throughout that woman's life, she HATED
Peppermint Candy. Meanwhile, I LOVE Peppermint Candy and anything
containing mint in general. It normally cures my nausea, too.
Whenever
I feel nauseated, I always try eating or drinking something with
Peppermint or Spearmint in it.
This Saint Patrick's Day blog is not
necessarily intended to explain more about me. If the preceding does
give you more insight about me personally, then I'm glad it helps you.
Since
it's Saint Patrick's Day, I know there will be some zombies roaming
around drunk, if not drugged up because of the holiday.
Some already had
an early start to celebrating Saint Patrick's Day, 2 days ago. Believe it or not, there WAS an actual purpose for Saint Patrick's Day, that most of us didn't know.
As
we already know, the holiday fell on a weekday this year compared to a
weekend.
Some Irish Americans really hate the way most meatheaded
zombies celebrate Saint Patrick's Day. The zombies use it as an excuse
to get shit faced.
Instead of me publishing a long blog about the holiday, I'm sharing an informative vlog by YouTube vlogger, MrBettsClass.
In this vlog, Mr. Betts teaches his viewers about Saint Patrick's Day's original purpose and about Saint Patrick.
Mr. Betts: A Beginners Guide To St. Patrick's Day (2013)
How's it going lurkers? I can't speak for everyone else, but this
past week has been very rough for some of us, especially for yours
truly.
On Thursday at 3 AM-ish, I was in the middle
of blogging on Horror-Punks.com, when my mother had a seizure. I had to
postpone blogging over there for a while, until my mother was feeling
better. These last 2-3 days, I barely got any sleep.
If
you want to learn more about what I have endured this past
week, you're always welcome to read my latest Horror-Punks blog.
On
another note, it is Song Saturday. This week, there songs in this block from Maynard James Keenan's bands, Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer.
Last Saturday, I watched AXS TV for most of A Perfect Circle's
concert. I would've watched the entire concert but it ran against Bleach
and Naruto Shippuden.
Too bad AXS TV didn't premiere A
Perfect Circle's concert earlier in the evening rather than premiering Judas Priest
and Lamb of God's concerts before them.
I suppose I didn't miss very
much with A Perfect Circle's performance. Maynard mostly hid himself in
the dark.
I don't understand the purpose of Maynard
James Keenan fronting 3 bands (Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer),
owning a winery and making wine, being an album producer, and actor but at the same time, he is ALWAYS hiding his face.
It is understandable that
the man wants his fans to respect him for his talents. However,
Maynard is involved in numerous professions, which require him to
constantly be "in the publicly eye."
Also, Maynard James
Keenan always hated the Hollywood lifestyle and the way fans worship
Rock musicians yet he has a home in the Hollywood Hills AND his sycophants believe he's like a god.
All the while, some find Maynard to be
self-righteous.
Maynard may not be as self-righteous
as David Draiman from Disturbed, for example. Although, he can sometimes
be a self-righteous hypocrite. I believe Maynard secretly hates himself
because he is the embodiment of some of the qualities that he hates in
others. It's like a reflection in the mirror.
Speaking of Maynard James Keenan's house in the Hollywood Hills, I read earlier this past week, that he is selling it.
Being an individualist by NOTconforming to the latest trends, not
wanting to be someone's idol god, being reclusive, and having to endure stalkers not only resonate with me, but are also problems that can be empathized by yours truly. Nevertheless, public appearances come with being an
entertainer.
Some of my old college friends are both male and female Maynard James Keenan sycophants for fans.
Meanwhile, some of them are like his personal zealots
because they consider him to be a god for his "deep philosophies" about
life, religion, and society through his lyrics. They worship the ground this man walks
on.
Interesting
enough, while reading hardDriveRadio's Dirt page, I learned that Maynard does
NOT write Tool's songs. As he sits idle, the band writes the lyrics for Tool's songs. Therefore, this would definitely explains WHY the band always has so many
side projects and delays.
Personally, I never put
Maynard James Keenan on a pedestal and claimed his as my God like a zealot.
Like I already said, even though I enjoy
some of Tool's and mostly A Perfect Circle's songs, and respect the singer for his talents, Maynard James Keenan is somewhat self-righteous and has the tendency to contradict
himself. Oh, I can only imagine the sycophants and zealots reeling over what I just said.
I like A Perfect Circle much better than
Tool because A Perfect Circle has a different sound compared to them. I
don't particularly care to listen to Puscifer except for their song,
"Revolution 22:20," which is featured on the 2003 Underworld Soundtrack.
"Revolution 22:20" has a dark yet seductive sound to it.
Today
I am sharing some of my favorite songs from Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer.
Tool's "Parabol" is a separate song
from "Parabola," which makes it actually 2 Tool songs.
1) Tool "AEnema" AEnema (1996)
2) Tool "Parabol" Lateralus (2001)
3) Tool "Parabola" Lateralus (2001)
4) A Perfect Circle "Magdalena" Mer de Noms (2000)

How's
it going creepers? On Wednesday, I briefly
mentioned on Stalkbook Facebook that I had this crazy dream. I dreamt that I was
back at my 2nd college, UW-Parkside.
In the dream, a
vampire apocalypse and some incredibly bizarre, alternate universe
simultaneously existed. Everyone had doppelgangers, including yours truly.
If you have ever watched
"Doppelgangland," you will understand what I am about to discuss. However, if you have never seen "Doppelgangland," it's from Season 3: Episode 16.
"Doppelgangland" was a continuation of Season 3: Episode 9's "The Wish." It
has been years, since I last watched Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. If
memory serves me right, "The Wish" episode was right after Cordelia
caught Xander cheating on her with Willow.
After
Cordelia and Xander had both split up, she met Anyanka a.k.a. "Anya,"
who was a vengeance demon (she later became Xander's fiancee). Anyanka
granted wishes to scorned women, typically.
Cordelia wished that Buffy
never attended Sunnydale High School and her wish triggered an alternate
universe.
In the alternate universe, The Master
rose from the dead. Then, vampires started to over populate and dominate
Sunnydale. Gradually, Giles discovered a way to reverse Cordelia's wish
by destroying Anya's necklace. Anya's destroyed necklace resulted in
her losing her vengeance demon powers.
Eventually,
Anyanka re-appeared in "Doppelgangland." Anya tricked Willow into
assisting her in a failed attempt to recover her necklace and tried
regaining her vengeance demon powers through magic spells.
Their failed attempt at the spell transported Willow's vampire doppelganger to Sunnydale, where they both met each other.
Returning
to Wednesday's dream, there was a vampire apocalypse and we all had our
own doppelgangers at UW-Parkside. When I saw my doppelganger, I RAN
like hell.
In fact, there was a major stampede. Everyone
on campus ran from their own doppelgangers. Some of us instantly climbed
the campus walls and buildings.
Some people would've assumed that a shooting happened on campus (we actually did have a campus shoot-out, during
Thanksgiving Break 2002). I don't know whether to consider this
disturbing dream to be a so-called "day terror," bad omen, OR simply just a
fucked up dream.
On Wednesday evening, I went onto Dream Moods and read its dream analyses. I searched the words
"apocalypse," "doppelganger," "alternate universe," and "vampires."
According to Dream Moods, here is what the dream analyses said:
Apocalypse-
"To dream of the apocalypse signifies an emotional and dramatic change
taken place within yourself. The dream may also indicate the end of one
kind of lifestyle and the beginning of another."
Doppelganger-"To see your own doppelganger in your dream is a reflection of your
negative actions. The dream is showing you the consequences of your
actions and what you should not do. Alternatively, the dream signifies bad luck, danger, and/or illness.
To
dream that you are fighting with your doppelganger means that you are
struggling between good and evil and right and wrong. If you kill your
own doppelganger, then it indicates that you have successfully repressed
certain negative emotions from surfacing."
Universe- "To see the universe in your dream signifies the endless possibilities. You need to look at the overall big picture. Alternatively, the dream
brings to your attention that we are all interconnected in some way."
Vampires- "To see a vampire in your dream symbolizes seduction and sensuality, as
well as fear and death. The vampire represents contrasting images of
civilized nobility and aggression/ferocity. It may depict someone in your waking life whose charm may ultimately prove harmful. Deep
down inside, you know that this person is bad for you, yet you are
still drawn to her or him. Vampires also sometimes relate to decisions
about sex and losing your virginity. Alternatively,
to see a vampire suggests that you are feeling physically or emotionally
drained. The vampire may also be symbolic of someone who is addicted to
drugs or someone in an obsessive relationship.
To dream that you are a vampire signifies that you are sucking in the life energy of others for your own selfish benefit."
You may be wondering, "How do these apply to you, Anna?"
I'm no dream analysis expert, but I'll take a stab in the dark. When
it comes to the apocalypse, I have been upset with quite a few people
lately in real life.
Some refuse to acknowledge that their friends are
complete assholes. They will defend their asshole friends, if not
justify WHY their friends are total assholes, until they are blue in the
face.
I do NOT expect for our mutual friends to choose me over their other friends.
However,
I refuse to attend ANY AND ALL social events, which require us to be in
each others physical presence. Therefore, I have chosen to social distance
myself from certain friends, especially flaky, cheap talking friends.
As
for doppelgangers, I keep pondering about my own. Reading that part
about my supposed doppelganger being a "bad omen" made me worry about my
health.
I was expecting something bad to physically happen to me.
Instead, on Thursday morning around 3 am-ish, my mother had another mild
seizure.
I suppose my doppelganger signified some
sort of payback for something. I am unsure of what the payback was for
but regardless, my mother had another seizure.
Over these last
several years, I have noticed that every time she has a seizure, it is usually before
her birthday. My mother was born in late April, so you are welcome to do the math on my doppelganger's significance.
I
have no clear idea what the alternate universe represents. Maybe this
is saying everyone has a good and evil side to themselves. Otherwise, it
could possibly be saying that everybody has a doppelganger somewhere in
an alternate universe; Anything is possible.
Last
but surely not the least are vampires. Lately, I've been feeling
physically and emotionally drained. This is the main reason why I have
been struggling to write my latest story, All Of Chastity's Men.
I
am somewhat basing this Semi-Fictional Story on scumbag exes and other
people's friends from over the years. This includes wanting revenge for
being screwed over within these last 3 years.
I think it is safe to say,
that All Of Chastity's Men has a "woman scorned" theme to it with
Horror elements.
Meanwhile, I've had obsessive
feelings for someone for more than a decade. He is like a drug addiction, that I
cannot seem to permanently break.
Speaking of drug addiction, I have
been told by some of his friends that he is a drug addict. Because so many people love to tell lies, especially HIS friends, I don't know how much of it is the truth and how much are complete lies.
A lot of lying, backstabbing, manipulating, and opportunism are involved regarding HIS so-called "friends."
He
always has a tendency to stay friends with jealous and petty people. They resent
the fact, that I ever had feelings for him rather than for THEM. They also lied to me in the past with their OWN hidden agendas.
How
do I know whether or not they are telling me the truth about him
and/or about each other? So, based on all this information, what are your thoughts?
As
a female writer, I highly empathize with some of the questions,
that are too frequently asked. Number 9 was something I was too
frequently asked in Creative Writing my high school senior year.
If you have not read the article above, the 9th question was, "Why are your poems so angry?"
I
love Aricka Foreman's answer, "Because you asked me that dumbass
question." After Aricka's answer, she drew a heart. Hilarious.
Gotta love it.
I hated listening to my Creative Writing teacher and classmates in high school constantly asking me the 9th question.
In
more primitive times, people expected women to always write the stereotypical
cutesy, girly, shiny, happy people holding hands, and to be all daisies
and dun barrels with gumdrops and unicorns being farted from the sky.
Reality Check: It's not all daisies and dun barrels and everything surely isn't always going to be gumdrops and unicorns.
Sir
Thomas More's Utopia is a Communist philosophical fantasy; It NEVER existed. Welcome to
the real world where our freedom can be compromised, if not destroyed at
any given time.
Sometimes there is no silver
lining to everything. Sometimes you are just screwed over by people, who
you once loved and trusted in your life.
Later, you ask yourself, "Why
did this have to happen to me of all people?!"
It
has been a decade, since I last wrote any poems. Writing poetry was my
personal catharsis. By the time I was a Creative Writing Minor, my
Creative Writing professors "dug my shit."
My
professors could actually feel my anger and every painful emotion I
poured onto paper, which was something they could not say about most of
my Creative Writing classmates.
Most only took
Creative Writing because they assumed it was an easy "A" elective. They
didn't expect the amount of work and creativity their writing would
require.
I don't know what was and still is the most
annoying, students believing they can bullshit themselves into easy
"A's" in Creative Writing? Or students, who already KNEW they were
required to workshop their writing?
Granted, when I started taking Creative Writing the last semester of my high school senior year, I RARELY shared my work.
I
was already notorious for lusting for a pretty boy guitarist outside of
my race. He then became my Valentine's Day Secret Admirer. The truth
was not revealed to me, until a few days before Graduation Day.
What
can I say? I have always had a thing for musicians dating back to my
childhood, during the 1980's. Feel free to blame '80s Metal bands played
on MTV, if you want.
During the late '90s and
early 21st Century, interracial couples and being attracted to someone
of the opposite race were somewhat still taboo. Then again, I was always
an outcast and still am 3 decades later.
Because it
was taboo for a kook like moi to lust for a pretty boy guitarist (imagine Jordan Catalano's doppelganger except younger and
more intelligent), I endured more than public humiliation for 7 hours
daily.
The mind games he and our student body
generally played made it difficult for me to share all of my work. He
and I shared the exact same Creative Writing Class, while he played mind
games by flirting with another girl in front of me. Outside of her
having a big ass, she could've used the so-called "Bitch Bag;" She was
fugly.
Adding insult to injury, that same girl
always felt the need to single me out by always volunteering me to share
all my Creative Writing with our class. 95% of the time, I did not.
There
was also a time, when we were assigned to do Collage Poetry. I created a
Collage Poem about ANOTHER boy from my past.
Everyone, including Jordan
Catalano's doppelganger automatically assumed it was about himself. That
day I wanted to hang myself outside our classroom window with a noose.
The situation was THAT much of a humiliating misunderstanding, too. Luckily by the time I was a college
student, I was not forced to endure the amount of paranoia, anxiety, and
public humiliation I already endured throughout high school.
In
college, there is usually a broad age range of adult students ranging
from high school graduates to senior citizens. That may sound like a
sarcastic joke, but I'm serious.
As I digress, when it comes to any Art or Creative Writing course, students are required to share their work in class.
Workshopping
is about handling constructive criticism. If people cannot handle
constructive criticism, they do not belong in any Art or Creative Writing
course. Sure, there are some rude, immature, and ignorant classmates in these types of classes, but it's inevitable. You'll love this.
My
college junior year, we had to create an Instructional Poem for
Creative Writing. A classmate wrote an Instructional Poem about how to
apply make-up.
Her poem never went any deeper; There was nothing in the writing about hiding
flaws behind a mask or anything of the sort. Some friends and classmates felt that their intelligence were highly
insulted.
The next semester, I wrote my short story titled, "The Bill
Collector." "The Bill Collector" is already bound in
It's Not All Bunnies And Sunshine (chapbook).
In my short story, the so-called bill collector stalks
my protagonist, Alice. Everyone in my Creative Writing night class couldn't stop talking about "The Bill
Collector."
My short story triggered LOTS of discussion the night I workshopped it for Creative Writing.
That same shallow twat from my previous
semester of Creative Writing had the audacity to call "The Bill Collector" "a
bunch of fluff." Everyone in class looked at her like she was stupid because she WAS a total dumb ass.
BTW: That same dumb ass was getting her BA in Secondary Education!
I pity her students because she's like a blind, superficial, space cadet leading the blind.
The
next session, she returned with her tail between her legs, ate some
crow, and decided to kiss my ass in the process. Not that I was
expecting her to do so, but I found it highly laughable.
I do NOT write
"a bunch of fluff." If anything, I have always been
highly controversial.
Whenever I finish writing "All Of Chastity's Men,"
I already know some will automatically label me as being a "man-hater."
If
it is not women highly lacking in self-respect, it will typically be
butt-hurt womanizers with crushed toes calling me a "man-hater."
Little do those people know that my audience has ALWAYS been male-dominated. SURPRISE! So, let the demonization begin!
How's it going lurkers? In addition to sharing Vampire Knight for today's Cartoon Sunday, I will be reviewing some Horror Anime. Are you
excited? Horror and Anime fans should be.
Since there are several to review, I will start with Another.
Another is a Seinen (Mens) Horror-Mystery Anime based on the Japanese
novel,Another.
Koichi Sasakibara is a 15-year-old
junior high student whose mother died shortly after his birth.
Meanwhile, his father (a business man) traveled abroad to India for a
year. This all leads to Koichi being sent to live with his aunt and
grandparents in Yomiyama.
Yomiyama is a small town where his dead mother
grew up.
In the process of Koichi moving there, he
acquires a serious health problem, which delays him from transferring to
his new school and causes him to be hospitalized. Then, Koichi meets
this strange girl with an eye-patch named, Mei Misaki.
After
Koichi meets Mei, his eerie "class representatives" from his new
school, visit him in the hospital. This is just before his first day of
school because they wanted to learn more about Koichi's background.
After
Koichi is finally released from the hospital, he starts getting strange
vibes from his classmates. Mei is sometimes visible in his classroom.
Everyone else pretends she doesn't exist because their classroom has
been cursed, since 1972. They must follow certain rules around the
campus, in order to avoid dying brutal deaths. Those rules actually
backfire on everybody both inside and outside Koichi's classroom.
Another
has some brutal death tolls. Some Anime critics claim that Another is
similar to the movie, Final Destination.
I cannot support their claims about Final Destination because I've never watched the movie.
Koichi's homeroom teacher committing suicide in front of his entire
classroom is definitely an unforgettable scene from Another.
Another: Kubodera Sensei Commits Suicide Scene (2012)
As a quick reminder, YouTube is blocking outside viewers from watching certain videos, when they're not removing them due to copyrights. Therefore, if you're at least 18 years old, you can sign into your Gmail and/or YouTube account(s) to watch the scene above. Here's the URL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yRW3iD7FZPQ
If you like creepy dolls, curses, ghosts, death tolls, and
Horror-Mystery, you should definitely give Another a watch. It not only has a novel
and an Anime, but also a live-action J-Horror Movie and Manga (Japanese
Comic Books).
Next, we have the Shojo (Girls)
Psychological Supernatural Horror Mystery Drama Anime, Ghost Hunt. High
school freshman, Mai Taniyama and her friends exchange ghost stories.
While exchanging ghost stories, they are introduced to 17-year-old,
Paranormal Researcher/Manager of the Shibuya Psychic Research Center,
Kazuya Shibuya.
Kazuya, a few psychic mediums, and
exorcists are sent by Mai's high school principal to investigate an
allegedly haunted school building.
During the school's investigation, a
dangerous situation occurs, when a bookcase nearly crushes Mai. Kazuya's
taciturn assistant, Lin Koujo rescues her.
Lin
becomes incapacitated by the falling bookcase and she destroys their
expensive camera equipment. Since Lin is incapacitated and Mai
destroyed their expensive equipment, Kazuya makes Mai repay her debt by
making her work for his company. She later nicknames him "Naru."
"Naru" is Mai's short Japanese nickname for Kazuya being narcissistic.
The "Bloodstained Labyrinth Arc"
is Ghost Hunt's scariest arc, which is later in the series. "Bloodstained Labyrinth" lasts for 4
episodes.
In the arc, Mai starts having nightmares and has first-hand
experience with the death of someone from the estate they are
investigating.
If you enjoy watching exorcisms, ghosts, psychic mediums, espers, and
poltergeists, you'll love Ghost Hunt. The opening theme song even sets
the creepy mood.
Similar to Ghost Hunt is Hell Girl.
Hell Girl actually has 3 seasons. Only Season 1 aired on IFC
years ago. There are 2 other unaired seasons.
Much like Ghost Hunt, Hell Girl
is a Shojo Psychological Supernatural Horror Mystery Drama Anime.
However, Hell Girl's main themes are about death, revenge, tragedy, and
comeuppance.
During the stroke of midnight, The Hell
Girl Correspondence appears online. Avengers posting their grudges on
the Hell Girl Correspondence will be visited by the Hell Girl herself,
Ai Enma. She offers the person, who wants vengeance, a straw doll and 1
of her 3 companions to help seek vengeance.
Each
person seeking vengeance has the option to either accept, or reject. If
he/she CHOOSES vengeance, his/her enemy will be sent to hell. The
avenger will also have a permanent black crest-shaped mark on his/her
chest. The mark symbolizes that he/she will ALSO go to hell, when it is
his/her time to die.
Basically, Ai Enma's services come with a double-edged sword. Most people follow through with seeking revenge, regardless.
At the very beginning part of Hell Girl Season 1, the stories seem
repetitive. As the season progresses, viewers learn more about Ai Enma's
origins and how she became Hell Girl. This doesn't happen until Season 1:
Episode 13 "Purgatory Girl."
Hell Girl: "Purgatory Girl" Scenes (2005)
If you're someone like me, who loves revenge, Hell Girl is the franchise to watch.
Besides
Hell Girl, there are the Hellsing Ulitmate OVA's. Years ago, Hellsing
originally had an Anime series. Then, Japan released the OVA's, which were adapted more to itsManga.
The Hellsing franchise is a
Seinen Biopunk Horror Action Drama. Overall, Hellsing is named after
and centered around the Royal Order of Protestant Knights.
The
Hellsing Organization was founded by Abraham Van Helsing. It is
currently led by his daughter, Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Helsing.
Sir Integra witnessed her father's death at a young age. Van Helsing's
death hardened Sir Integra and turned her into a lethal force to be
reckoned with. Integra is protected by her family's former "trashman" now
turned butler, Walter C. Dornez and Alucard.
Alucard is the original and most powerful vampire. He swore his loyalty to The Helsings, after Van Helsing defeated him.
The
Hellsing Organization's main objective is to secretly search and
destroy "the undead" and other evil supernatural forces, that are
threats to the queen and England. In addition, there's Seras Victoria a.k.a. "Police Girl."
Seras Victoria is a former police woman
now turned so-called "Draculina." She was originally sent on a vampire
mission with her squad. The mission soon becomes more than what she bargained
for. It results in "Police Girl" being taken hostage by a vampire priest, who
controls zombies. Alucard shoots through
Seras Victoria, in order to kill the vampire priest.
Then, Alucard gives her the choice to die or become a vampire. She chooses vampirism, which leads to
Alucard becoming her master.
Now, Seras must drink blood like a regular
vampire and go on missions with The Hellsing Organization.
Hellsing Ultimate: Seras Victoria's 1st Hellsing Operative Mission Scene (2006)
Because YouTube keeps removing the Hellsing Ultimate clip of Seras Victoria sniping the ghoul named Jessica, the preceding image above is from that exact scene. The fact that YouTubers keep inserting Justin Bieber in this scene is highly obnoxious.
Creeping down the stretch, there is the Shounen (Boys) Supernatural
Horror-Mystery Anime, Shiki. Shiki(literally translated in
English as "corpse demon" or "death spirit") takes place in Sotobamura,
Japan, during the summer of the 1990's.
Sotobamura is an isolated Japanese village with old customs such as the burial of the dead, for example.
Throughout
the summer, 3 corpses are mysteriously found and villagers start
dropping like flies. Everyone, including Dr. Ozaki Toshio, assume
there's a growing epidemic in Sotobamura.
All the
while, The Kirishikis conveniently move into the long abandoned Kanemasa
Mansion on the outskirts.
As more villagers die throughout the summer,
Dr. Ozaki Toshio starts investigating and discovers the supernatural
presence of vampires.
The vampires are referred to as "shiki" and they return from the dead, infecting the entire town.
I
watched Shiki 2 summers ago. As I watched each episode, there were
times I became frustrated because the main characters kept dying.
When
it comes to Megumi Shimizu, that character was and still is the most sickening character in Shiki.
She was a snob,
who wasOBSESSED with Natsuno Yuuki so much so, that she stalked
him. Even after Megumi died from anemia and was revived as a
shiki, I am willing to believe that most Shiki viewers rejoiced, when she
officially died. I know I did.
Shiki: Megumi Shimizu's Brutal & Well Deserved Death (2010)
Tokko isanother Seinen Horror Action Anime. The gif above is a scence from Tokko. This has more of a supernatural, police procedural theme to it.
In Tokko, Ranmaru Shindou graduates from the police academy and is
assigned to Tokki.
Tokki is a Special Mobile Investigation Force.
On the
same day of Ranmaru's graduation, he meets this half-naked girl, who he
constantly sees in his dreams, named Sakura Rokujo. Sakura happens to work for Tokko.
Tokko is the Special Public Safety Task Force, which is secretly within Tokki.
Eventually,
Ranmaru joins Tokko mostly to avenge the death of his parents and to
solve the mass murder mysteries for Machida, Japan's residents. Because
Tokko is a short series, the story has a faster pace. The following is a clip of the opening scene for Tokko's 2nd episode.
Tokko: 2nd Episode Opening Scene (2006)
If you enjoy watching Japanese demons and strange creatures with a blood lust being slayed, you should definitely give Tokko a watch.
Last but not least is Vampire Knight. This is a Shojo Supernatural
Action Romance Bishounen (Pretty Boy) Vampire Anime with a high school
theme.
Even though Vampire Knight really is not
scary, it heavily revolves around tragedy. The series can be somewhat
considered Horror because it has the elements. It is mostly meant for
the female audience, since it is a Shojo Anime.
Ghost
Hunt and Hell Girl are both Shojo Horror Anime except they have more Horror
elements to them than Vampire Knight.
In other words, Vampire Knight is
more feminine with dark and tragic overtones. Anyway,
Cross Academy has both Day and Night Classes. The Day Classes are for
humans and the Night Classes are for the vampires.
Cross Academy's
headmaster (Kaien Cross) created the academy for both humans and
vampires to "peacefully coexist." At the same time, they are still
segregated on campus.
You are probably asking yourselves, "Okay what's the point? That sounds rather contradictory."
In
a way, it is contradictory, not to mention delusional.
I believe Kaein
Cross built Cross Academy for his foster daughter/campus guardian, Yuki
Cross and her childhood/campus guardian friend, Zero Kiryu.
Vampire
Knight begins with Yuki remembering that stormy winter night, when she
was nearly attacked by a Level E Vampire. Instead, she was rescued by
Kaname Kuran.
Kaname Kuran is a Pureblood
Vampire/Moon Dorm President/Vampire Society King. These are only naming a few
titles he possesses in Vampire Knight. Out of respect for potential fans, I won't spoil
everything about Kaname Kuran.
Kaname, Yuki, and Zero are the main characters
with a love triangle.
Rather than sharing clips of
the Vampire Knight series, I am sharing the links below to its pilot
episode. You can watch Vampire Knight on Crunchyroll either in Japanese, or English.
While
watching it, you will quickly learn about Zero's self-hatred and his
hatred toward vampires. This includes his seething jealousy towards Kaname.
